Help and Frequently Asked Questions

Events

How much is it to get in?   The entry charge is on the event details page (where you leave a guest list).
What's the dress code?   The dress code is on the event details page (where you leave a guest list). Please make an effort!
What time is the club open till?   The opening times are on the event details page (where you leave a guest list).
Are your listings up to date?   We always make every effort to make sure all our listings are correct, and they are the majority of the time. There may be instances where clubs change their listings without letting us know. We always update our listings as soon as we have new information.

Leaving a guest list

How do I do it?   Find the event you would like to go to in the list in 'Events and Guest Lists' section of the website - click on the logo. The guest list page for that event should now appear, put your details in, including a valid email address, then add your friends names in the guests section, one guest per line please.
How will I know GoneClear got my list?   It normally takes between 24 and 48 hours to look at your guest list, but we may do it a few minutes (sometimes a few seconds). You will receive either a confirmation or a declination from us once we have looked at your guest list.

You can check the status of your guest list by going go back to the guest list page for that event. The names you left should reappear, along with the current status of your guest list.

Does a computer decide?   No. Each guest list is looked at by someone who has been given guidelines and capacity restrictions by the club. We have a very efficient guest list processing system, so in some cases your guest list confirmation may seem to be returned almost immediately - it has still been looked at by an actual person.
The web site never works for me?   Our website relies on cookies to know who you are and to make leaving a guest list easy. It can manage with out them, but its much more prone to problems if you do not have cookies enabled. Turn cookies on in your browser and it will probably all kick into action.
Where is my confirmation?   Once we confirm or decline a guest list, we will always send you an email. However the major web based email providers have somewhat over zealous spam blockers and will tend to put our confirmation in your Junk, Bulk or Spam folder. So check if its gone there.
I can't believe you thought we were guys!   We have to base our decision on the ratio of guys to girls on the names given to us. And as much as we would like to think that we are cultured and well travelled, we get it wrong sometimes. Please don't take it personally, we aren't being disrespectful or trying to make fun of you, we just got it wrong in your case. Either email us at info@goneclear.co.uk or put some comments in the comments section of your guest list to make us aware of our mistake.
Your Confirmation is so long!   We try to give you as much information as we can before the night, so please read all of it. It may look like the same thing over and over, but most of the time each confirmation is different.

On the Night

Where do I go?   Check your confirmation email for details on where to go and/or who to ask for.
how do I make sure all my friends get in   Make sure they know who the lead name of the guest list is. And as silly as it may sound, that they are on the GoneClear list. Sometimes there may be up to ten different lists on the door and nothing winds door staff up more than people who don't have a clue.
We got knocked even though we had a guest list.   Most door staff are quite reasonable, especially when they have a guest list in front of them. However you must follow the guideline specified on the guest list page. For example, leaving a guest list of girls and guys with us and then turning up as a group of only guys and proclaiming you have a guest list will not wash with most door staff, and will just cause embarrassment.
The guest list line is as big as the normal line!   This may sometimes be the case, but most people on guest lists get priority entry, and normally the entry charge is reduced, so there is still an advantage to being on the guest list.

If you have any questions you can always email us on info@goneclear.co.uk or call us on 0709 231 1981 at anytime - we're party people too!
